Kina/ China. Suide town, Li Zicheng imperial residence in Mizhi, the 10.000 Buddhas Caves and strawberry fields forever.

We are so far out of main stream travelers roads. In Suide we went with shared taxis from the train station to the hotel with 2-3 other destinations in the car, and we also got an extra passenger on these trips as the pragmatism prevails. We witnessed a wedding at our hotel and three others in the street. They were so fun, colorful and happy. The whole wedding with guests and musicians ventured from the hotel down the street. We took a didi the whole day and went to learn about Li Zicheng – A revolutionary hero who fought for the peasants for ten years, won, forgot the people he fought for and lost power after 2 month. The residence museum also held an impressive exhibit of local women’s accomplishments in science and arts. We decided to drive even further to the sacred place of the 10.000 Buddhas.
