Bangladesh: Textile Manufacturing has to be part of the story of this country
Bangladesh – textile factories. When we hear of textile factories, we think of child labor. We also think of silk 🥻 saris and feminine clothing.
We got a unique change to visit a workshop where they have reviewed an old technique of handmade silk fabric. No children, only grown ups with breaks and time to smile. We supported best we could buying a 🥻 sari and learned about the pride of the technique.
From there we went to a factory with machines weaving white cotton fabrics.
