Mount Qomolangma is its Tibetan name.

WOW. The sunset was followed by a stunning pink, purple and blue light as the ⛅️ set behind the clouds ⛅️ like the aurora, the Northern Light.

We slept in tent ⛺️ with room for 10 as dormitories. At 03.30 we woke up by the control of whether we were the right number of people. Laerke and I slept in the common room alone as all took the expected upgrades to small separate rooms in the tents ⛺️

I have had altitude sickness since we arrived. Before this has eased after a few days. It did in the Andes mountains in Chile 🇨🇱, in La Paz in Bolivia 🇧🇴 and in Bhutan 🇧🇹 But not in Tibet. Here I have had a splitting headache every day during our week in Tibet. Oxygen in small spray bottles have helped.

The people are so very sweet. Mild. Empathetic. Helpful.

I thank Jez Me (sound little like Jimmy) for getting me all the way despite being breathless and having headache.
